Since 1993 Linehan Outfitting Company has consistently provided high quality lodging, fly fishing and hunting adventures around Yaak, Libby, Troy and northwest Montana.

Our home waters are the Kootenai, Yaak, and Clark Fork rivers and we also offer some of the greatest wilderness style small-stream and alpine lake angling in some of the most spectaular places in the area. Linehan Outfitting Company guides are well versed in teaching all levels of angling skills.

For the upland hunter we also offer wild upland bird hunting for mountain grouse. Ruffed, blue, and spruce grouse populations are good to excellent here in Yaak and with solid dogs it's not uncommon to average 2.5-3 flushes per hour.

For the discerning big game hunter, we offer big game hunts for whitetail, mule deer, elk, and Shirus Moose. The Yaak is one of the last places left in the lower forty-eight states that still has great populations of big game and is still a healthy fully functioning ecosystem rich with biodiversity of all types.

Linehan Outfitting Company is Orvis Endorsed and Tim and Joanne have been recognized for excellence within the outfitting industry. Accolades include Montana Guide of the Year, Orvis Endorsed Outfitter of the Year, and Orvis Endorsed Conservationist of the Year. Tim is also involved locally and nationally with Trout Unlimited and was the host of Trout Unlimited’s television show for six years on ESPN2 and OLN.
