Only 12.8 miles up Yaak road (508) from Highway 2.

Visit the Golden Nugget for a historical part of the early days of the Yaak. It is now the last part of what was once the Sylvanite Mining District!


It was a former ball mill operated in the 1950's and 60's to crush gold, silver, copper, and zinc mined in the area. All the equipment to operate the mill is still in place and if hooked up to a generator, probably still runs! We re-opened the foreclosed property in Sept. 2004.


Serving Grizzly burgers, chili-dogs, soups, stews and chili all home-made. we are considering doing steaks on saturday nights in the summertime.

All year on friday nights I do wall-eye or catfish dinners, reservations highly recommended.

The kitchen is open if the bar is open.

Accomodations:
We now have laundry and showers available. sleeping rooms and cabins too!
